Ingredients
- 250 Gms Indian Prawns (13/15 PDTO)
- 100 Gms Double Smoked Streaky Bacon
- 1 tbsp Avocado Oil
- 1 tbsp Forest Honey
- 1 tbsp Chilli Garlic Paste
- ½ tbsp Tamari
- Salt & Pepper to Taste
- Chilli Flakes & Oregano to Taste
Preparation
- Marinade thawed prawns with avocado oil, salt, pepper, chilli flakes & oregano and refrigerate for 10 minutes
- In a bowl mix tamari, forest honey & chilli garlic paste
- Remove the marinated prawn from the fridge and wrap around the bacon, use toothpicks to keep the bacon in place
- Preheat oven to 250 degrees centigrade or preheat coal barbecue
- Coat the bacon wrapped prawns completely on both sides with mixture
- Place on a oven tray or on the barbecue to grill
- Keep turning the wrapped prawns regularly to ensure both sides are grilled to perfection
- Grill for 15- 20 minutes until bacon is crisp
- Plate and serve hot with a dipping sauce of your choice
